Closing event registration before an event occurs
There are essentially two ways to close event registration at a time before the event actually occurs.
By attendance limit
While editing an event, set the attendance limit to cap the number of allowable RSVPs.
On a particular date
On a given date, set the Attendance Limit to the number of currently registered attendees. This will close registration from that point on, while including the current RSVP records in the RSVP screen. (Currently, it is not possible to automatically close registration at a set date).
Note:
When unchecking "Allow Registration" for a given event, the RSVP records gathered for the event in the past are hidden from the RSVP screen. These records are not deleted by disabling RSVP. By again checking "Allow Registration", the RSVP records will appear.
