MANAGE GALLERIES

List View

  • Find: Begin typing the name of the content you would like to find and the system will perform a search. NOTE: Do not click the enter key as you type. This will remove the Search terms.
  • Sort Function: When scrolling over the top of the list, the Heading turns dark and an Arrow appears next to the Heading. Once you see the Arrow, simply click the Heading to Sort the List in alpha-numeric order. Click again for a reverse order of the list.
  • Edit Selected: To change the Publish Status or to Delete selected items, click the check boxes to the left of each item. When the boxes are checked, the "Edit Selected" button will turn on next to the Add button. Click "Edit Selected" to change Status or Delete.
  • Edit Content: To edit your content, click the underlined words that are in a different color. When scrolling over the words, a pencil icon will appear and the row will change to a light orange.

  • Status: galleries set to draft are still available on the site, they will not be listed with other galleries though.

Add a New Gallery

Step 1 of 3: Add Gallery Name

  • Name: The name of the gallery.
  • Description: A brief summary of the gallery.

Step 2 of 3: Add Images

  • Images: Once you have added images to your gallery, you can click on any of the listed images to edit them. After you click them you will be able to see the controls for the image.
    Click the left and right arrows to move the image around in the gallery.
    Click the frame icon to make it the 'Promo' image. The current promo image can be seen in the upper right corner of the page. If no promo image is selected, a random image will be used. The promo image will represend the gallery on the gallery list pages both in the backend and on the web site.
    Click the trash can to remove the image from the gallery.
    Use the "Link this image to" dropdown to select a page for the image to link to.
  • More Options: Depending on your implimentation, you may need to assign your gallery to a certain group.
  • Image Library: Click on any image in the library to add it to your gallery. It will be added to the beginning on the gallery.
    Use the find box to find a specific image.
    Use the page left and right icons to move through all available images.

Step 3 of 3: Publish Gallery

  • Do not show in Gallery page: If your site has a page listing all galleries, you can opt to not show this galley on that page. The gallery can still be used for image rotators, on your homepage for example.
  • Show in Gallery page: Lists the gallery on the main photo gallery page (if you have one).
